Meteorological and Climatological Services

Among the environmental services available to clients, Odotech also provides meteorological and climatological services.

It should be noted that Odotech can rely upon an in-house team of some of the most experienced and competent meteorologists available. The types of projects and work that Odotech can offer in the domains of meteorology and climatology include the following aspects, among others:

Monitoring
Odotech plans measurement networks consisting of one or more stations, and the associated observation program, specific to the needs of each client. Odotech can recommend instrumentation suites, install the stations, provide a data maintenance and validation program, customize the data processing and read-out display, and advise on an archival system.

Meteorological and Climatological Studies
Using data collected in the form of near real-time observations or based on climatological data, Odotech conducts specialized scientific and technical studies ranging from simple to quite complex, depending upon clients' needs. Among the subjects that the team has previously handled, are those that involved smog (origin, monitoring, distribution, etc.), local or regional climatology, work on precipitation, and radar analysis for case studies, among others. We also develop and assess models which are then used to perform this work.

Legal Expertise
Odotech prepares reports and expert opinions challenging the interpretation of meteorological events for which the consequences are arguable before the Court. To this end, Odotech’s expertise has already been recognized in a court of law.

Meteorological and Climatological Databases
Odotech builds the necessary meteorological and climatological databases required for a wide variety of applications. The details of data processing and results posted are customized to suit every individual client’s needs.

Training
Odotech adapts its training program for the specific requirements of its clients, whether they need general or more advanced training.
